Food contact suitability

Food contact suitability: analytical service to verify compliance of materials with specific national and international regulations regarding food contact.

Analysis of global and/or specific migration, migration of colourings, metals, PFAS, amines, bisphenols, phthalates etc. on various matrices (paper and cardboard, polylaminates, plastic materials, rubbers and elastomers, silicones, steel and metal, glass, etc.).

Specifically: analysis for paper and cardboard in accordance with the series of methods regulated by EN 1186 on plastic materials (Regulation EU 10/2011)​, in accordance with Italian Ministerial Decree 21/03/1973 on multi-layer multi-materials with contact layers in plastic, stainless steel, rubbers and elastomers, silicones and glass, ​Regulation 1935/2004 and specific regulations for type of material.
