Product Safety
Lifeanalytics Product Safety is dedicated to supporting companies in meeting safety checks for contact between products and people. The main materials that are analyzed are paper and synthetic polymers, as well as hundreds of other materials; an area in great evolution is that related to computability and recyclability analysis.
The topic of product safety is growing and attention to the REACH regulation is increasingly providing a list of substances deemed dangerous, indicating the limits of presence within the articles that make up the different consumer products, in addition to substances subject to specific restrictions depending on the scope of the article.
Similarly, for electrical and electronic equipment, the RoHS Directive imposes limits on the concentration of certain substances deemed dangerous such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, certain categories of brominated flame retardants and phthalates.
