To improve the ecological performance of your company
Environmental and energy certifications are key tools for companies that demonstrate compliance with specific standards and criteria related to sustainable resource management and energy efficiency and demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, Improving corporate reputation, achieving energy efficiencies, reducing operating costs and contributing to environmental protection.
Our consultants offer technical and specialized assistance for the elaboration, obtaining and maintenance of the certification of:
- Environmental Management System - UNI EN ISO 14001. The ISO 14001 standard defines the rules for implementing and certifying an Environmental Management System (EMS) within any type of organization. Companies and entities voluntarily adhere to this standard in order to monitor and reduce their impact on the environment. Through a universal methodology, the standard allows for specific business processes tailored to each type of enterprise.
- Energy Management System - UNI EN ISO 50001. The UNI CEI EN ISO 50001 standard defines the rules for implementing an Energy Management System within any type of organization. Companies and institutions voluntarily adhere to this standard in order to continuously monitor and improve their own - and therefore also the related costs - and optimize energy use.
- EMAS Registration EC Regulation n. 1221/2009. Regulation 2009/1221/EC EMAS - Eco-Management and Audit Scheme - allows you to join, on a voluntary basis, a European eco-management and audit system with the objective of assessing, monitoring and improving the environmental performance of an organisation. Applying for and obtaining EMAS Registration means having your own Environmental Management System (EMS) certified according to ISO 14001 and constantly informing the public and its stakeholders through an Environmental Declaration, a transparent and up-to-date balance sheet of the activities implemented for each site.

What benefits do you get?
Metaphor of environmental and energy certification: hands with puzzles representing elements of environment, sustainabilityReduce and control costs: An environmental management system reduces energy consumption and identifies and prevents waste throughout the supply chain, with considerable savings in both materials and economic resources.
- Prevent risks and penalties: compliance with the system of standards allows to reduce the risks of environmental accidents and those related to the management of energy sources, therefore, to incur criminal and administrative sanctions that can threaten the continuity of the business.
- Limits liability: by reducing the risk, ISO 14001 certification also makes it possible to limit the company’s overall responsibility for environmental legislation, as it implements a management system that allows the chain of individual responsibilities to be monitored throughout the organisation.
- Improve reputation: with all these three certifications, the organization communicates its commitment to the environment with maximum transparency and effectiveness, improving the reputation among customers and stakeholders and enhancing the brand.
- Increases competitiveness: a stronger brand allows to position itself more effectively on the market, communicating and obtaining a better value, thanks to the presence of the ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and EMAS Mark on documents and products.
- Continuously improve your business: the Plan-Do-Check-Act scheme typical of ISO standard management systems generates a culture of continuous improvement, whereby staff are encouraged to constantly refine their methods and results.
